I have a friend in Cebu that just pays the local kids to bring him mice. His snake is certainly not underfed.

70 peso a mouse or a kg, if the latter than still cheaper than ground beef/pork chop (joke).
Wish I could help you but have no idea where to get cheap mice.

General Area for you. After heavy or consistent rain, reports come in about many rats and other vermin (not sure what that means but....)
The Captains men around will point you in the right direction I Am Sure. Unfortunately ( or maybe fortunately for some one that wants rats) a lot of people in some outlying Areas don't know how to keep their Homes and areas clean and tidy, Thus provide a good Feeding and Breeding area for the blighters.

    Happy Hunting my friend.

My son because a "mouse" entrepreneur when he was young He had a snake, and we went to the pet stores to get a feeder mouse. When he arrived home his younger sister and her girl friends were at home. When he proudly announced that he was going to feed his snake... the "poor little mousy" he just brought home for lunch. He quickly doubled his money on his "mouse investment" when his sisters friends offer to save the "poor little mousy" by buying it from him, of course he double his cost... Maybe there was some opportunist Filipino blood in him. That's my kid... lol.
