But, they multiply like hell. Buy a cage, put a few mice in there, and throw some cooking garbage to the daily. In a months time you will have more mice than you need.

I totally agree, although the smell of a mouse "herd" is not always pleasant. . My daughter got one mouse from the "female" cage at the pet store. By the second generation of mice she has 72 mice, heading for 242 with the next generation. We called her the "Mouse Rancher."
Luckily we had one cat, who figured out how to get into the mouse cage  and greatly modified our projections for herd size. :(

About smell indoors, I came to think of something that happened to me ~20 years ago.
I lived in an apartment with 2 room mates during university. A neighbours christmas tree caught fire and burned out their apartment, but the fire was contained to her apartment.
She had a pet ferret that survived the smoke, but she was not allowed to bring it to the hotel they spent the night in, so we took it in to our apartment.
I also had 4 pet snakes. Man where they active that night, when there were smell of ferret in the apartment.
So, might not be a good idea to keep the mouse farm to close to the snakes, as it might be stressful for them to stay in a steakhouse. :D

A update on food for my python...........I went to my regular mouse pet shop today and they had no mice at all left, so I purchased 3 young hamsters at 125p each, my python ate them very quickly and I think would have eaten another one if I had one.

So to update I am now looking for a supply of Hamsters.............smile.........so if any body knows of some for sale cheap........................125p in the pet shop is a bit out of my budget

lol How often does a python have to eat? Hopefully it doesn't get too big or we might see some postings about missing dogs around town.

Not full grown chickens, full grown fighting cocks! I'm positive you will have no short supply of donations then. If only snakes could eat loud mufflers and karaoke machines!
