I would think so. I absolutely hate doing those little things on the website to improve the sites SEO. Boring, repetitive.....completely mind numbing. Anytime I start to do something SEO related I quickly find myself something far more interesting to do......such as clipping my fingernails or counting how many Pringles are in a can. (there are 95)
Hahaha, I can only imagine. I have a hard time focusing on that stuff as well, so I'll probably start learning, and quickly give up and pay someone to do it.
There is usually an app or plug-in that will do some of work for you but some things just have to be done by hand. I'm going through the showcase items and making sure that "address" is above "phone" and "website" so that Google can figure out what the hell the content is actually saying. Luckily that section is new and there isn't that much to do. Still not much fun and you kick yourself in the @ss for not doing it like that the first time around. Have you ever made money online before or is this your first go around?
I work in a niche area and I have a strong network. Clients mostly find me. It's all been remote. I rarely meet clients face to face (aka meatspace.)
I'm pretty late to this topic but hello anyhow. I'm working remotely from Dumaguete for the time being. I'm head copywriter for a startup based in Bangkok. but I've worked remotely for about 5 years in media relations for the hotel industry. Staying here for a bit while I write for a side project, a website dedicated to sustainable travel in the Philippines.
