I agree with Pato..Acuna if you want the best (dont skimp on your 'loved' ones) if you visit his clinic ,you will see how professional they are..The other one ,across from Cangs may be cheaper..I would never use him again..Miguel

Just got my pup back from the vets across from Cangs. The vet says, the pup has a bacterial infection. and his platelet level is very low. Pup has been in the vets for 2 nights,
Price almost P 10,000 including recovery food and other medicine. Pup is really tired and won't eat or drink water. We have to force water and his medicine.

Michelle from Cats and dogs has been treating Imp and Uggy since I have been here about 3 1/2 years. She has always been personable and professional too. I was using her at Paradise Pet Shop before she moved out on her own. Her prices seem reasonable to me. Like many above average professional service providers she has gotten busier over the years, but still seems to do a great job. No price concerns except when she wanted Uggy as a retainer fee for some work on another cat... just a joke with her. She is open to taking calls on her personal cell phone number JP has listed above which is a plus.

See JP post above for contact information.

A lady rushes into one of the Dumaguete veterinarian's offices and screams, "I found my dog unconscious and I can't wake him -- do something."

The vet lays the dog on the examination table and after a few simple tests he says, "I'm sorry, I don't feel a pulse, I'm afraid your dog is dead".

The lady can't accept this and says, "No, no, he can't be dead -- do something else."

The vet goes into the other room, and comes back with a little cat. The cat jumps up on the table and starts sniffing the dog from head to toe. It sniffs and sniffs up and down the dog, then all of a sudden just stops and jumps off the table and leaves. "Well, that confirms it," the vet says, "your dog is dead."

The lady is very upset but finally settles down. "Okay, I guess you're right. How much do I owe you?" The vet says, "That will be $340."

The lady has a fit and asks, "Why is it so much? After all the vet didn't do anything for the dog."

"Well", the vet replied, "it's $40 for the office visit and $300 for the CAT SCAN!"

Please note that Imp is available to perform Cat Scans on any dead animals for the normal professional fees.

Coconut oil for the skin irritation works great. Add a few drops to the dog or cat food and water and they love it. Keeps their paws soft too. Lavender essential oil drop a few rubbed behind their ears and on the blanket will help calm them on the trip. Even better add in a small clothing item with your scent on it to make them feel safe.
