I was reading the back of my drivers license it says conditons, A wear eye glasses B drive only with w/special eqpt.for lower limbs C drive only with w/special eqpt. for upper limbs, D day light driving only,E accompanied by a person w/normal hearing . Does every one have this and what does it mean?
Alex. it is basically saying what you have put on the application form or as such what if any your impediments are. (A) if you normally wear Glasses, you must wear them when you drive. (B) If you have a Leg problem and need an adapted vehicle you may only drive that specially adapted Vehicle. (C) is not as daft as it seems, You may only Drive a vehicle that is Adapted for someone with No Arms ( And they ARE out there.) {Anyone remember the Thalidomide issue.} (D) means you have a reflective sight issue and therefore you may not Drive at night under Artificial Light. (E) is really Self Explanatory, if you are deaf, you may only Drive if you are accompanied by a Fully hearing Person. Source. LTO Driving Examiner, ( And there are 1 or 2 in Dumaguete, ( Good or Bad and one is a cousin of my Wife.) but it's OK he don't like me either. Hope this helps enlighten you all. JP
Everybody has it (on the back of the license). Look on the front under CONDITIONS which are listed there. I have none listed, which means I have non of the A-E listed on the back. Restrictions the same thing. I have 12 on the front, which means MC's and Vehicles up to 4500kgs. A bit funny is how it's listed on the back, and how they leave out 4 (Automatic clutch up to 4500). Not ONLY automatic.... So, technically without the 4 (which I think is all of us) we are not allowed to drive automatics.
