Officials of fire protection offices in Negros Oriental and Dumaguete City are admitting being at a loss in curbing the perennial problem of grass fires, especially those involving sugarcane fields. The officials of the Bureau of Fire Protection said it has always been a dilemma to stop the practice of burning sugarcane fields as there is nobody to arrest and prosecute those who do it. Seems like an appropriate title would be "No ‘culprits’ Caught in grass, sugarcane field fires or "We don't give a sh*t who started the fires" There surely is someone responsible .... oh... but wait... in the Philippines no one is responsible for anything.
d*mn sugarcane trucks dragging all that mud on the roads and not covering the load letting it fly all over the place......the list is long of people they have pissed off.
