I think you will have a lot of wall-peeing anywhere you have a lot of drunks. If you don't want people peeing on walls then you might want to reconsider your stance on bars and prostitution......or just make pee-proof walls. Seems they have found a way to have their cake and eat it too.

Drunks can't be bothered with finding those.

A few years ago when I did research on this problem I read in Germany the encourage people to pee in public....the logic being holding your urine is unhealthy....forget the averages but they pee in public more than the Philippines??? ..... While the solution is simple and easy.....Filipinos do not see it as a top priority
I asked a policenan what he does when he catches a man peeing in public....he said he warns them....I ask what if you catch them a second time....he said he writes them a citation....I said if you did not write a citation the first time how do you know it is the second time.....he stopped talking to me
I have seen police officers peeing in public....and I got a report that a senior police official was in New York attending a conference and was cited for peeing in public.....

Do not look for this to change anytime soon either....BTW it is smelly and disgusting but not particularly dangerous

I doubt any man on this forum can say he has not taken a leak outdoors...as an avid fisherman it has happened more times than I can count. With that being said, I agree that being so blatant with it is kind of odd...but it does cost 2 peso to use the public CR close to the market here.

It is a cultural thing I believe and have had to get in our son's @ss a number of times about whipping it out anywhere and just tossing trash. It seems to be the norm for the most part here, but I will put a wrapper in my pocket until I come to a trash bin or back to the house.

Public Cr's ?? What are these please? :shifty:
In one Particular Mall (a smaller one ) here in Dumaguete, you have show the guard a receipt for something bought in the mall to use the CR.
The only CR I would call Public from off the Streets is the one in the Robinsons at the Old Mart 1 and then only from 9 am to 8 pm
Otherwise it is trekking around the Bigger shops and Bars and Things and that can get silly if questioned about it.

Not even the BOI will not accommodate and if it is Busy OH! Dear :wideyed:
