"The Sangguniang Panlungsod of Dumaguete City adopted the committee report submitted by Councilor Melissa Erames-Tuballa denying the request of the Commission on Human Rights for a re-investigation of the case against a Canadian national, due to lack of compelling reasons. Tuballa said it was CHR field investigator, Jesus Cañete, who said that due process was accorded to Canadian Marc Cohen before the SP declared him persona non grata. She said re-opening the case will result in a non-ending “full blown” proceeding that will work against the commitment and mandate of the SP for a high legislative performance. The committee report said that, though it recognizes Cohen’s option to seek redress from media and other offices nationwide, the committee construes such moves as plain harassment intended to further besmirch the city and undermine a privilege granted to any lawful body to welcome or withhold the welcome to persons to its place." That guy is a walking fraud. Jesus ... Same as any other place Dumaguete ain't perfect but what this guy did is unjust, plain and simple. What a moron.
Still not sure what is happening to him as his Visa extension has bee denied again as of last week, So I guess he can add Overstaying to the rest of his Silliness. JP
Last I heard he was staying at la tundra apartments in San miguel, he came here a few months back and was turned away before he got through the gate!
He stayed at La Toundra for 3 weeks 4 months ago. After helleft they had to throw out all the bedding and pillows as his dog sh*t everywhere and he wiped it up with the linens. Cost the owner 5k to clean the room and replace the soiled bedding etc... Moron!!!!
