Hi Everybody, Here is another thought i am seeking to resolve with a positive solution:- Everywhere I look here in Philippines, final finishes on everything (except for all the charming ladies), appears to be "that is good enough" for today - we'll try again tomorrow (which off course NEVER comes). This is ever so obvious on wall finishes. The house we are currently renting has painted walls (another shock), which while different, still doesn't hide the cracks, roughness, joints, etc etc. While this is obvious a Filipino acceptable finish, I really am looking for a more completed look. Not sure if I want to start using "Gyprock" or other types of interior light wall material. Which brings me to the european practice of wallpapering. Whilst this site advertises supply of wallpaper via alibaba.com, has anybody used this type of finish? I remember my parents wallpapering our apartment in Germany a few times. Different rooms - different styles of wallpaper. It gives individual finishes, hides imperfections, etc etc. And it gave everything a look and feel of perfection and completion. Comments, thoughts, feedback appreciated.
City hardware or AS building supplies have some good ideas and things, did you think about texture pant from Davies available form both or Rejoice in town. Covers a multitude of Sins on walls. Just down from YMatao toward Dunkin Donuts, on the same side of Perdices. is a Furniture shop, owned by Matao's they have wall paper Books in there. The main Problem we found with Wall paper is this d*mn Dust issue. So I guess washable is Best Anyway, Norbert I hope you get Sorted. Opposite to rejoice is a paint Supplier ( Well decorating Supplies) Some times he has rolls in Stock but i have not seen any of late. JP
