i see Mandaue foam opened a store in Dumaguete today, looks like they have some decent stuff in there! Also there is a 15%-30% discount until April 30th. Right opposite hypermart.

It looks modern from the Pictures... very nice to see Dumaguete moving up a little. I hope the prices do not go up faster than the quality of the products. On a certain scale new business are looking better and better in Dumaguete. I will check it out.

Visited Mandaue foam today for the first time, was impressed with the layout, politeness of staff and the quality and prices!
We looked at the bedding as always difficult to find quality here, eg queen size duvet, fitted sheet and two pillow cases for p4,440 minus 20% but the sale ends today. It was also cotton and 300 count.
Reckon some of the other stores selling the Chinese stuff are going to suffer on sales now this place is open.
    Nice cold aircon also

Still a silly price on sheets.

The JC Penny 300TC sheet set is only around $30 USD (including shipping in the US).

You can get a 1000TC queen size bed set for only about $10-20 more than what the 300TC is being sold for in the PH.

    bed sheets - Google Search

Some things just don't make any d*mn sense. They can't be marking that up 4 times the actual retail price. I'm guessing they are getting hit with taxes/shipping costs. If they aren't they are just some greedy bastos.

It's still way cheaper and better quality than any other place in Duma. When eventually we found what we wanted in a close by store a few years ago and made of cotton the sheets and pillowcases were around p2,500 and duvet was around p4,000 and now even more expensive!
But will agree it's still over priced to what you pay in most countries. I will say the experience of shopping there was a pleasant one as I detest shops of any sort.
[DOUBLEPOST=1430389071,1430388898][/DOUBLEPOST]Also just to say it looked like most stuff in there was imported as the quality was very good, they even had very nice leather recliners! And we all know the import taxes in the ph.
