Visited KRI Restaurant on Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised. On entering the place I didn't realise the main dining area was at the rear. It is decorated in a modern chic/urban style (reminiscent of a Gallery Bistro concept) with an open view to the kitchen/food prep area and a nice covered outside seating area for smokers.

Food is excellent, presentation top-notch and portion size is fair. The attentive staff are friendly and helpful. Menu is a mix of Grills, Seafood, Homemade Burgers, Pastas, Local Fayre etc. As the dishes are relatively cheap (individually) it is easy to 'pick & mix' various appetisers and entree's to create a varied taste/dining experience. Soft, well conceived lighting and delicate music compliment the atmosphere.

TOP TIP(01): Not on the menu - but shown on a picture high above the reception desk - Homemade Lamb Burger (cooked to your liking) - DELICIOUS!

TOP TIP(02): Tapioca & cheesecake desert (served in a glass) - Mind-blowingly addictive!

    Total cost for 4Pax (8 dishes + 3 desserts) + plenty of homemade fruit smoothies & beers - PHP2,400.

    Recommended to try.

KRI is one of the finest restaurants in town. Presentation is always great. For sure I will try going to try the dessert next visit.

Also azalea resto is owned by the same people on the way up to twin lakes. The menu is not quite as good but it is always well presented and nice food. Sometimes it takes a while to serve but the views you don't get bored of!
Ps they have the best buko shake and great bruchetta.
