Sunday at the Bingo hall located at Hypermart was held up ... They got way with what I was told $100,000p
Where was the armed guard, if there was any ? Charming, hitting the oldies who can ill afford to lose a peso.......well, unfortunately I have to admit, there are some scum bags in Oz who target the elderly and grab their Pensions while they are accessing their ATM account.
Should they even be in the bingo hall if they don't have a peso to lose? Also, what would you do if you were a poorly paid guard and 3 armed guys come at a place you were guarding and all you had was some POS Philippine made pea-shooter with military surplus bullets left over from WWII? I probably wouldn't be sticking around for too long myself.
Was that Private money from Punters or Company Money? I wonder (Inflated amount no doubt) As to any Guards well, as we have said before, they are not there to protect the public are they? So seems a waste of money here again as there first job was to stop any one dubious getting into this place. Of course Insurance will pay out I guess as they will show that security was on Duty. Well the Report book will say so I bet! JMHO of Course. JP
If the company has insurance they should pay out regardless of the guard. The company providing the guard is liable and should pay out for the losses now.
The police is cautioning business establishments in Dumaguete City, specifically banking and other financial institutions, to tighten security measures because of intelligence reports on the presence of robbery/hold-up gangs in the city. The police are presently investigating a hold-up incident at an E-games (electronic bingo) outlet in the City, yesterday morning where five unidentified armed men with 45 and 9M caliber pistols fled with around P100,000, Senior Supt. Mariano Natu-el Jr., OIC provincial police director of Negros Oriental, said. Robbed was the outlet in Bagacay, Dumaguete, owned by Board Member Arnie Teves. Footages retrieved from the CCTV camera, recorded that at 2:55 a.m., one of the suspects disarmed security guard Roberto Buquiran of his 38 caliber revolver, and another man, wearing short pants, a printed T-shirt, and white ball cap, proceeded to the cashiers' section , manned by Jezelle Joy Ege Gomez, 25, and Charry Gendraule, took the cash, and Gendraule's G-Shock wristwatch, worth P5,000. The incident took place in less than three minutes. Investigations said Buquiran noticed a white L200 vehicle parked in the middle of the parking lot at nearby Hypermart at around 1:30 a.m., but failed to get the plate number. Continue reading...
It was bound to start happening at some stage, possibly MILF or other groups on a fund raising mission.
I like this $100,000P - anyone see the discrepancy here? Sounds like philippine news - they change it to P100,000 then keep the remainder in their pocket.
It is also interesting that the weapons were clearly identified as a 45 cal and a 9mm. If it was the guard who identified them, he was obviously not too frightened or nervous to notice........both weapons are very difficult to distinguish between, particularly when held and pointed at you. Maybe the guard knew they were coming ? Me, I would be scared sh......s and shaking too much to notice much of anything..........lol...........
