A Hong Kong official has apologized for remarks she made against Filipinos. Regina Ip, a Hong Kong lawmaker, had accused Filipino domestic workers of seducing their male employers. Ip's apolgy appeared in an article on the South China Morning post, but she said that her comment was neither racist nor sexist, adding that she had been misinterpreted.
