Not long ago, we had two people ( a man & woman) appear at the gate and told the Wife they were here to inspect the Gas Cooker and Bottle. Now this is a Brand new kitchen and was Fitted by the suppliers tech team ( Matios) My Wife looked at the ID's and they seemed genuine but she was cautious, they were Practically demanding to see the equipment and could I move the Dogs, they had some sort of official paper [which we now know is Bogus.] Azon told them that they entered at their own risk as we will not be putting the dogs in their cages, as we do when we have guests. Anyway long Story short, these people have no authority to inspect anything, in fact all they are doing is Selling some sort of adapter/regulator. for p 2.5000 ( which we could Credit) The model I have has all this built in, which the guy did not know about which is where I stepped in and demanded to see Id's and the official paper. Enough said I think. One yer Bike! Shortly after informing local polis and the Captain. Just a heads up. There is no such Department that comes out to Inspect gas appliances, unless sent for This is just another Scam that some may fall for. JP

Thank you JP, yes i was told and aware of all this Modus Operandi; they hypnotised you and take your gadget like cellphones and computer in seconds! My mom lost 12,500 after being hypnotised. When i was new in town several locals came offering something, i never entertained them i let my 2 massive dogs scared them away(they only like and trust foreigner). Donations are entertain by appointment and During Christmas season i never entertained carolling choir group to avoid dramas, and now for 4 years no one come to our gate without valid reason. I have tried once 3 years ago to give 1 peso to the carolling and since then no one bother us anymore.
Jp, you are correct, they have been to my place several times over the years. I learned at there first visit it was all a fraud to sell you an expensive regulator or find a leak that doesn't exist. Then want several thousand peso's. Everytime after that, I tell them straight to their face they are a fraud and not to come back without the Bngy. Captan and a search warrant.... There are other guys that come by and offer a free inspection.....Same Deal...... Ron
