At least seven people have been killed in an attack on a tourist hotel in the Tunisian resort town of Sousse, according to the Interior Ministry.

At least one gunman has been shot dead, a security source told Reuters news agency.

Sousse is a popular tourist destination.

Tunisia has been on high alert since March when militants killed 22 people, mainly foreign tourists, in an attack on a museum in the capital Tunis.

The Interior Ministry told the BBC "a terrorist attack" was ongoing and there were casualties, but did not give any more details.

Tunesia is not exactly a 'third world' country - one of the most affluent countries in that region (also thanks to the French who ruled the country in the past) and has a flourishing tourist industry. That's precisely the reason for this attack (as was the one on the Bardo museum ealier this year): hitting the tourist industry to cause chaos and allow retards to take over. Apart from this attack (which now already has a deathtoll of 27), there was a terrorist attack just outside Lyon in France and a suicide bomb attack on a mosk in Kuwait... You mentioned it before: The peaceful religion....

There are now 39 dead including 5 Brits and 36 injured in this terrible massacre, like hans mentioned sousse has long been a big tourist destination for decades and relys heavily on it.
I see a few embassy's are already telling people not to visit there so the tourist industry has been destroyed by these murdering - - - - - - - - overnight!

How you deal with extremists like this,I don't know as the attacks seem to pop up randomly all over the world.

I think Tunisia fits what we consider a "3rd world country" today.
What we think the "3rd World" means today (a poor/developing country): They seem to fit the bill.
As for the original meaning.....I'm not sure if they were an ally of the US and Europe (the first world), an ally of Russia, China, Cuba (the second world) or neutral during the cold war (the third world).
Either way, you won't catch me spending of my free time in predominantly Muslim countries on vacation. The vast majority of terrorist attacks are Muslims against other Muslims. Don't want to get caught up in the middle of that nonsense.

Muslim countries need to be developed quickly and anyone who teaches and trains this ridiculous version of Islam needs to be arrested and/or killed. I don't think it is on the West to throw money at these corrupt countries to develop them though. We should put pressure on the wealthier oil producing countries (which just so happens to be where most of the funding to support these groups come from) to step up and do something about it. Unlike the US, I hardly consider Saudi an "ally" of the US. They should be cut off financially from the rest of the world until they get their act together and stop funding terrorism. Of course the problem will likely be fixed once the extremists get their hands on a biological or nuclear weapon and attack the West causing massive casualties. Hopefully we don't have a weak President (like our current one) whenever that happens.

A lot of the western world governments are the same, nanny state who pander to these Muslims, they only understand a hard line of governing and until this happens and people say enough is enough nothing will change.
Like all the bullshit going on in mindano, it should not be tolerated, flush them out and execute them all!

All this is a Shame as Tunisia was always considered a Liberal and friendly country as a whole.
It was a good Ally in WW2 but as with most of these counties now, the fanatics have moved in and there we have it.
Same Sh...t different country but this is of course is the way they work, put pressure on people through ( As Dustin Puts it ) the Religion of Peace :vomit:
