Just curios here. We are frequent visitors here and normally stay close to Lee Plaza. This am as usual we had a bit of a struggle crossing Perdices on the pedestrian crossing. Returning, same again, traffic unwilling or unable to stop, plus the whole area is packed with parked motors. Not in any way pedestrian friendly. On the foyer of Lee Plaza were three policemen, texting, chatting and seemingly enjoying their stint. Not sure there oblivious to people trying to cross the road or just to lazy to assist. We actually stopped traffic to help an elderly lady across, even locals ignored her.
Must have been TMO tea break time. The Police on the Foyer are usually Tourist Police or Cadets but still, they do have a job to do, If only they could remember what it is. JP
No one cares , to walk from the Check inn to the palwa hotel their is moter bikes on the foot path in many places so you have to walk out into the traffic on the road . Sunday we were parked near Jolly Bee on return to our car we found a moter bike park between our car and the next , i could not even open the door to push our car out as i have had to do before, Like i said NO one cares. I stop at zeb crossings to let some one cross only to see a bike come up on the inside and almost run them down . no law here .
There was just an announced intent of enforcing the stopping at crosswalks a few months ago from some govt org
As with may things it will take a serious accident or a death to wake them up. It really is Russian Roulette trying to make that crossing anywhere up to Unitop. This Environmental lawyer was apparently Trying to prove a Point. Not sure what point he was trying to prove in a Side Street This where he should have been Not quite sure if the Kids had a better result on that day. JP
No your right but watch the TMO lads and dancers come out of the woodwork they were hiding in and start blowing them whistles.
