emissions testing what a joke

Went in to have test done on my motor bike this morning.

filled out paper work
they backed up bike to a camera ant took a pic of the license plate.
wait 20 minutes (for what I dont know)
take another pic of bike with wand stuck in exhaust
gave paper work back. all finished sir.

not once did they start the bike. all done engine off.

 

lol.. what emission testing center is this? i want my motor bike to be checked there

 

what confused them obviously, was that you had an exhaust fitted................. lol ....................

 

I heard the test centres in Bais is now restricted to 1 test per 10 min, as the LTO office isn't able to handle the load of renewals otherwise. lol

 

What a racket! Out of curiosity what year was the bike manufactured?

that could have been the reason for the wait.

 

we have to renew the registration on our little suzuki van soon, can anyone recommend a good emission test centre.?? and what to be prepared for.......?? and have also heard most emission test centres can process the rego renewal......??

Ask, Ernie at Emission test opposite Cang's highway. Just bring all copies of your previous registration documents.

 

thanks for that, I am a little concerned as our van blows a very little bit smoke some times..........maybe froom a lot of short trip driveing.....will that be a hinderence to the test.........??

 

I shouldn't think you 'very little bit smoke' will be anywhere near the Norm they deal with.
