When i went into BOI 10 days or so ago to extend my visa the computers were Broken as they were all Apart.........They marked my papers and said just call in a week to see if everything is ok ... I did ... they were not..Today I went there...I was clcse by.... and people were in the office so I thought everything was ok but they told me the computers were down...So I will call them in the morning and hope for the best...Hope not going to be a problem they said there would not be as my papers were marked as to when I came in before

Lets hope so TTL as we have been here long enough to know that there word is not always their bond.
Maybe you can keep us all up to speed on this as I am sure others will have some difficulty if not put right soon.

    JP:wink:

ps. Maybe their Computer Experts? are all engaged at the DFA trying to get those PCU's there to function.

Has been probs with the pc's for a while now in there,as long as you filled out papers on due date or before all will be well. We all know how backward the office is here.
So I have been told the new staff are very good.

You even get a bit of paper asking how their service was

I went in yesterday (Thursday) morning. It was crowded, but the staff was efficient, and I was out of there in about a half hour. I did have to leave my passport with them for a week for processing - I don't like to do that, but with all the backlog, I can see where it's necessary. I like to go in with the form filled in, a picture and the photocopies from my passport (main page, last date of entry - the folks at Dreamland Travel next door know what's required). The only change I noticed from my last visit was that I now need a photocopy of both sides of my ACR card.

I got a txt from BOI at about the same time explaining to me that there was a flood from a broken water pipe and all my new 13A paperwork was damaged. I was told I need to return to Cebu and redo my paperwork.
