I did check Ocean Jet schedule and it looks like you leave Dgte late afternoon and the return boat from Tagb to here is something like 10am.. I don't want to spend the night there; just go over and roam around for most of a day then come back at 5pm or so Any other shipping options?
Not sure, but there use to or still is a ferry that leaves Duma at Midnight ish to Cebu and Tagbilaran. should get you there in the morning. Returning I don't know. Better you go to the pier and inquire.
If you decide to spend the nite there, there are several hotels for about 1,000p. Darunday Manor is walking distance to the plaza, cathedral and BQ Mall--about a 100p trike ride from the terminal. Sun Ave Tourist Inn (about 1,000p) is less than 1km walk from the pier, there are lots of choices for 1,000p or less--check Agoda. Kinda hard to see much in just and afternoon, especiall with such a long ferry ride to to so.
