From Memory I seem to remember that we have quite a few members whose Extensions are due toward the end of a Month so I thought I would take time to remind DI that this Friday 25th Sept is a National Holiday so Banks, Government and Larger Offices, Insurance and such, not Forgetting the BI will be closed so if you need to do it, do it before Friday. Of course Retail Therapy can still be Obtained. JP
Feast of Eid End of Ramadam. JP This is the one many shot me for when I remarked on it not long ago, Mr President has made it a Regular Holiday now.
Can't be the end of Ramadan. I was in Afghanistan for that. I remember this because an Afghan collapsed from dehydration/heat exhaustion when he brought me a system to fix while it was 120F outside during Ramadan....and refused to drink water when he came back around because of it (but we put a bit of water in his mouth while he was delusional....with help from some Afghan guards that had actually read the Qu'ran and understood the rules on drinking during the day throughout Ramadan). Google tells me that Eid al-Adha is: I don't see why all of the Abrahamic religions can't get on board with this religious holiday/dogma. They all believe the guy was pretty awesome.
