    My wife Antoniette is admitted at Silimans with dengue hemorrhagic fever and urgently need blood platelets. If someone is willing to donate, please contact her at 09173092786. Her blood type is A+. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help.

    yes O is the universal donor and all that's needed for Dengue are the plateletts

    Yes that's true only the platelets are needed for Dengue fever, but it is difficult to find platelets here in PI. Ask for "White blood" from the hospital (that's what they sometimes call platelets here).

    Hope this helps even if maybe late to the party so to speak!
