    Yeah, there is no incentive to follow laws without enforcement. It's not an education issue. People will do whatever they can get away with.

    You know the more I think about this more I realize it is their own fault (the Authorities,) Stop the Import of these things, Stop the Shops Selling the d*mn things.
    Surely a Shop is more likely to be afraid of issues on Fines and closure than the Lad on the Street getting stopped or is that too easy

    JP,when they first brought this issue up last year they were actually suppose to stop the shops selling them but you know how it is on this island!
    I think it was also mentioned on here with a link to the news item about the shops needing to be held responsible.

    Well the way I see it is until they are it will not Stop. Maybe Mr Mayor should spend more time reconsidering permits and less on the Me, me, me, talking Yet actually saying nothing worth while, He has the Power (he says) so Money where the mouth is comes to mind.
    Anyone walking out of His Restaurants without Paying would soon be arrested But.................I guess that is a Personal issue and not for the good of the People. Electorate. Then there Lies probably, the Truth.

    I'll believe it when I see it .. or don't hear it. :smile:

    The timing is off on this though, usually they do the big talk around Jan 1 and it lasts about a week and then forgotten.

    well, i support it. Those d*mn kids on those bikes are annoying as hell. they should enforce some lighting rules at nite also.

    Some bikes are just designed like that (my big bike's exhaust comes out under the passenger seat and would point at someone's face that was following too closely). I think the ones that smack you in the face hard have had something done to them to raise the compression ratio.
