I need to send a duffle bag of clothes and books to from Subic to Dumaguete. I'll be traveling by motorcycle and ferry. Will any delivery company hold the duffle bag for 30 days for pickup in Duma? Anyone in Dumaguete offer a service I can use to do this?

    Thanks - Mike from Oregon

If there is a 2GO Shipping in Suvic they can probably help you out.
    Another possibility is LBC courier.

You can send it to me and I'll hold it until you get here. Don't know the best (or most affordable) way to send it though. Send me a PM with how you want to send it and I'll get you an address/contact number. If you send it via LBC you can just send to a local branch and I could pick it up from there.

Another option would be to send it via the government ran PHILPOST. I'm almost certain you would make it from Subic to Olongapo before they were able to deliver it. I'd suggest you take more than 30 days to get down here if you plan on arriving at the same time of delivery though.

Beware LBC normally only holds packages for 3 days. I found this out the hard way when I was moving here from Luzon. I sent the packages the day before the ferry was supposed to leave Manila, but the ferry was delayed for a week and had I not had a friend here to accept my packages for me with letter for same they would have been considered abandoned by LBC. Plus they are expensive IMPO

That's very generous of you and I appreciate it. I'm going to make a quick run up to Baguio and will be in touch with you after I get back.

    Thanks - Mike
