Pool House for rent in Dumaguete

Pool house...

Actually, with the heat and humidity in Dumaguete, I still don't think anything special needs to be done to your bike. We live in MO. in the states, and it gets 100 degrees in the summer. I do run an oil cooler on my bike bikes (100 c.i.) or 1667 cc.

I would suggest running synthetic oil, as it makes the bike run cooler. You will also need to wipe the chrome and paint down regularly because of the salty air nature of the climate. This will prevent rust and paint deterioration.

The new bikes are built so well, there is really little maintenance to be done if you just keep checking the small things.

When I move to Dumaguete, I am bringing over one Harley Davidson, and one Indian.

Life in the Philippines is NOT all Beer & Skittles,sometimes ....shock,horror...I even had to pour my own G & Ts....

Currently I had to bring the family back to England for Hospitalization for my hip & knee,but discovered other problems.When almost recovered,my wife of 20 years,Liza, was found to have cancer of the womb.

I managed to get one of my wifes sisters over here,via Australia,and things are finally looking up again.We are tentatively looking at August when we can all descend on Dumaguete once more.

Looking forward to meeting up with The Dane,The Outlaw,even that reprobate Earlmj...

Hello David , It is sad to read parts of this post , and yet you seem to have the powers in you to keep on smiling to what live has in store for you.
I myself have that same kind of defence , whenever I feel down or facing bad times since I myself am suffering of many nasty illness. Anyway , thanks again for your post and "an other look "" at you . This time the concerning husband and father that is. I do not know whether you are a religious man , I am , as plenty here will know , and find great comfort in praying. I have a "funny " feeling that nyou are religious too .. I have been cured by miracle according to professors in the Netherlands where I come from of many things , they even feld the need to amputate my left leg within ONE WEEK , and yet.. I still have both of them to "walk me around "..
I would love to meet you , see your bike and family . or should I write . your family and ... bike..

Religious ? Well,I used to be in the Choir at St. Chads Church [from boy soprano to alto/tenor,over a period of years.

I wasnt a 'Good Christian'....spending a lot of my time in the Choir Stalls messing about with other guys of my own age...flicking rubber bands etc., at the Lady Choristers...

In life, I havent pursued a Godly life,but I have always believed in & feared God.

My life has occasionally been sordid,never chaste or unsullied.Its simply that I can resist ANYTHING ,except temptation....

Whilst fearing 'HellFire ,Brimstone & Damnation',I try not to let it interfere with my pursuit of pleasure,licentiousness or lust....

A leopard cannot change his spots,nor can I pretend to be angelic,chaste or morally well-behaved...

I love my children,all of them,my Grand children even their mothers [to a degree...],but I came to the Philippines to continue treading 'The Primrose Path'....

My love of life is both lustful & bawdy,I shall not leave many paths untrodden,any liquor un-drunk,nor any agreeable Filipinas unsullied....

I also am sory to hear of the troubles you are having, You will be in our prayers. As i read your last post it reminds me of me before i found God and accepted him, it was the BEST thing i have ever done in my life,I just keep asking my self why did it take so long for me to find him , I am only asking that you consider accepting God. Give your self to him and he will take over from there and you will experience a beautiful life, I for one do not miss any of my past I only regret that i had it, God bless you

 

WISE WORDS INDEED YETTE 77 !! Since God cam into my life , I have become a COMPLETE other man and find more friends ( real ones that is !!) then ever before..
It is good to see and know , that even subjects like faith can be posted here for this has always been a subject many people avoid speaking of.Accoding to the professors in Rotterdam , by now I would have been dead o lets say some 7 years already. They and I learn that I am getting stronger day by day and have more energy then ever before PRAISE THE LORD !!

There is no need to say more , as you YETTE have said it all so beautifuly here already !!

My Life & My Faith [..or lack of it...]

....Thank you for your kind thoughts & words for my wife & family,Vette 77 and Earl.However,any sympathy directed at me would be ENTIRELY misplaced.

I have made my bed,and I will lie in it.

With regard to my wife Liza,anything & everything,that can be both done & said,in Gods name,is welcome.

My wife fought her way out of the slums of Pasay City,after the early death of her father, a Fisherman.

As a 'True Filipina' she is a credit to her race,ANY race.There is NOTHING the woman would not do for her family,NOTHING ....

I have stood by her side,when confronted by drunken policemen demanding free drinks, in our Restaurant & Bar in Puerto Galera. I have watched ,in awe,as she berated Barangay Tanods for sloppy discipline & behaviour......its a long list,Liza fears nothing & no-one.

There is NOTHING I wouldnt do for her,but right now,I am helpless.Here in England,standards have dropped alarmingly in Government under The Labour Party,and it is Hospitals,Education and the Elderly that have to suffer under the cut-backs imposed by this corrupt,inept bunch of politicians.

As to organised Religions,well.......when Bishops & Cardinals live in Palaces staffed & funded by their congregations,something is VERY wrong.The masses have no money in the Philippines,little or no Education,poor housing,short lifespan [due to poor health & diet].

For those responsible,the Politicians & The Church,to lecture the masses,whilst enjoying the fruits of their deceit,money,multi homes,luxury cars,bodyguards etc. etc.,is thoroughly immoral .

Please,save your prayers & tears for the poor afflicted masses in the Philippines,wherever they might be,Manila,Mindanao or elsewhere.

ANYTHING perverse that happens to me,I fully & richly deserve.Any opprobrium heaped on my head,is mine and mine alone.When I misbehave & fool around [...frequently..] it is done with my eyes wide open,and whatever punishment is inflicted on me, is fully merited.

Dantes Inferno here I come.....but please, please spare my wife & children from the sins of their husband & father.

Oh Dave it is never to late, it is not about religion , but your relationship with God, I understand what you say about the churches that spend all the money for wordly posesions, God will deal with them, Our GOd is so patient to have us accept him, oh my Dave how you remind me of myself, I have many times ask my self how could God ever forgive me of all my sins.Just as we use soap to cleans our bodies , God will cleans us from our sins and make us new again, For the only way to the father is thru Jesus,I wont beg you to receive God , my intention is to just say the words for him and ask that you consider receiving God in your heart , Dave I do pray for you and your family not just your family. Allthough you claim not to have the desire to go into "the Depth "about it all. you ARE A VERY SERIOUS MAN , INDEED ! Some people might thing you are a joker , the way you write your post , and so others will think and or tell about me. Let me assure you , that in conjunction with Yette 77 , I ( we) are not.

I respected you HIGHLY for what you write in ALL HONESTLY about how our met your wife. My story is a 100% match to yours. When its comes to your point of view about the Roman catholic Church here , Yette 77 has spoken wisely and given wings to my toughts as well.
There is something we call CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP , and that my friend .. that is something different. it is all about S H A R I N G ..Helping your Brothers and Sisters in any possible way at any place and / or time. I have commited myself to the Lord , but also to the administrator of this site . In other words I when ever you are ready would like to address to you in person. It is fully up to you whether you like to meet and greet. Trust me when you are not ready yet.. well we and the Lord will know. There is nothing to be done about that..
There is a whole stroy that is out of its place to put in writing here...

Getting back to it all.
You are a GOOD MAN , that loves his family and yet likes to fool around as well.
I guess you will have your reason for that. It is so much true that you yourself are responsable for the way you live your life ,most people would blame others for that ,unlike you being very open and honest about it all.
