I personally don't think murder will be the charge given the aggressive nature of Mr. Prins prior to what happened outside the bar. That's speculation though.....so I'll stop myself there. I'll wait to see what the prosecutor decides to do and respect the system.

It is still trying to automatically embed the live leak video. Let's try doing it like this: live leak video click me.

Note: I am not the person who uploaded this video to live leak. It had to have came from the PNP, friend/family of Mr. Prins or someone with access to Zanzibar's DVR. (If I uploaded the video I would have posted the cameras on the inside of the bar as well.)

It was excessive force and it involved a weapon. It's interesting that they planted the bottle outside. I wonder if that alone could upgrade a charge by showing some sort of intent.

In the U.S. - there would be a lawsuit here. The family may be sticking around for a while.

Tragic for everyone. The bouncer didn't have the training and temperament to deal with the patron. The club apparently didn't provide this training and probably didn't have enough security to handle the large crowds it gets. Now someone has died, a bouncer and others may go to prison and the club may end up going down.

Checks and balances. The club protects the staff by providing training and resources. The staff protects the club by properly handling problems. The staff and the club protect the patrons from themselves and each other. We protect ourselves by not getting out of control. Staff protects each other (which happened inside the club but not outside.) One check fails, the others come into play.

Also interesting is that that the incident between the bouncer and the patron ended up pulling in non-employees. There is a lesson in crowd control here. Unless I missed something, we don't know the cause of death. It's possible that someone from the crowd inflicted what ended up being the fatal blow.

I think stamping on his head was enough to kill him, don't you think.

Yes but adrenaline can make us do things we will regret. I personally don't think they intended to kill him. The whole thing only lasted around 5 seconds. They should certainly see some time behind bars for their actions but I don't think anything more than involuntary manslaughter would stick in court.

    I don't know.
I had a similar thing happen to me in the US. Almost killed me. Changed my life forever.... No cctv footage or any witness to the crime. I was beat with a Mag light. No one called the police, no one took me to the hospital. The so called friends I was with loaded me in the back of a truck and dropped me off at another friends house. I didn't wake up until the next morning. Then realizing I needed to get to a hospital fast. My lip was split from top to bottom front teeth on the roof of my mouth..... Large blood clot on the way to my brain....... Wow all over some unknown girl. It was the second fight I got into that night at the same bar. I hurt the first guy pretty bad. The second one didn't fight me he was running away.... the last thing I remember is perusing him. And then waking up the next day calling my sister to come take me to the hospital.
But I learned a big lesson. It doesn't matter how bad #@% you are or strong you are, a equalizer will spank you like a little girl. I have not been in one fight since then...... I used to have a few fights a month before that. So don't think its just a Philippine thing to gang up on someone. It would happen in any country where people are intimidated and then the "MOB RULE" sets in.

Its possible Phil may have also smashed his head hard on the pavement as he collapsed with his full body weight. Whatever the case - he must have been unconscious almost instantly and never would have seen the blow coming { from behind ] . Combined with a few kicks to the head once down, being left on the pavement for God knows how long and who knows if the Hospital even knew how to treat his injuries?

All a recipe for a fatality.
