4 deaths 4 suspects killed, sounds like a Starbucks was the target. See CNN now reporting not sure if 3 of the 4 killed were the terrorists

Pretty sure the man in this photo is a terrorist. He is not wearing a police uniform. Even the policeman wearing the reflective vest is pointing him out. Plus, the man is pointing his weapon at the crowd, which a policeman would (typically) not do.

What amazes me is that (apparently) no one is trying to shoot this terrorist. Even if the policeman wearing the reflective vest is not armed I would hope that a civilian in the crowd who is carrying a gun would shoot the terrorist. To minimize collateral damage an armed friendly civilian could lay on the ground to get an elevated shot so as to not hit people in the crowd if he/she misses with the first shot.

I assume they eventually killed this terrorist because in a subsequent photo in the DailyMail article there appears to be his sneaker (rubber shoe) on the street (without him in it).

Now we know why the terrorist's rubber shoe was in the street without him in it. The rest of his body is in the back left of the attached photo. Turns out his backpack was filled with killing tools (see photo).

I still do not know why good people are not more willing to take action to defend themselves -- and defend others -- instead of running away. The police cannot be everywhere and usually the terrorists attack where the police are not -- that's why it's called a "soft target."

I recall seeing a video last year taken inside a bus in China. A crazy man pulled out a gun and immediately ALL of the passengers -- mostly women -- instinctively rushed the man and quickly overpowered him. That gets my vote!!!

In the case of the terrorist in the photo, rushing him in this open space would not be a good idea, but I have to believe there were other ways to kill him sooner. If no one in the crowd had a gun then hit him with a car or something......

Let's at least blur out the dead bodies. I personally believe people need to see these pictures so they get a full understanding of what these terrorists are actually doing to people and how they completely destroy lives......but the forum is not the place for it.
