Central Plaza School on fire in Tanjay this morning. School is across from fire station, but first responders were the fire trucks from Amlan. I think questions should be asked about the management of the Fire Service in Negros Oriental.
This is a serious and dangerous situation. Heads need to roll over this inept management / staffing issue. This can not be sugar coated in any way or form.
The Same thing Happened in Dumaguete a few years ago, the Medical Centre Burned down and this was RIGHT next Door to the Fire Station. The Head of the BOFP is in Hot water all ready again over the Fire in Daro only 3 weeks ago. I think we have to ask Who? Monitors these supposedly Experienced Officers. There can be NO! Excuse for these things We can only be thankful that there was no Loss of Life in the Incident, Certainly Hoping so anyway.
A few months ago we had a transformer on fire out front we rang them at 6pm they rand back 4 times for directions they arrived at 9pm the fire was long gone out
Alex you should have tried to keep the fire going until the fire department arrive or they become discouraged.
