    2015 Corruption Perception Index

Least corrupt - Denmark (1 out of 167)
Most corrupt - Somalia (167 out of 167)

Armenia, Mali, Mexico and the Philippines tied (95 out of 167)

Corruption Perceptions Index 2015 - Transparency International

We complain a lot about the corruption here, it certainly could be better......but it could be worse (a whole lot worse).

Interesting world index number. How were the tieds figured into the count. For example the Philippines is rated as number 23 from the top in IQ, but when you count the ties, which do not lower you position as you share the position, you end up much lower. The Philippines is actually in 23th position with three other countries listed as number the 83rd, 84th and 85th group from the top country on the list. There are 10 countries in the 20th position alone, but that does not lower the number idex of the Philippines. It looks like on the web site of Transparency International the ties,do not lower you rating, just like the IQ ratings. So rating can be quite skied (or is that screwed  ?) to give a little different picture of reality. Did the most corrupt or lease corrupt country put together the rating?

Rating can be deceptive. A good illustration of the way ratings can be skied:

Texas A & M University rated Obama the 5 th best president in the US. Here is how they figured this:

    The details:

    1. Reagan, Lincoln, and 8 others tied for first

    2. 15 presidents tied for second

    3. 17 other presidents tied for third

    4. Jimmy Carter came in 4th

    5. Obama fifth

Just shows that "“figures lie and liars figure.”" Laugh we live where we live... does it really matter what number we are on the world index. If you are going to let the index number make a decision for you to move, then you are going to have a hard time finding a reality with more beauty, cheaper rum :dead:, or more accommodating ladies. :o o:
