I would love to barrow that and drive it down the highway late some night, with a full face helmet and other disguising clothing. I bet I could reduce the number of motorcycles and trikes that do not have any lighting on the back side by a significant amount between Dumaguete and Dauin. (anyone know of a snow-plow type attachments for motorcycles for night driving? )
The problem with all that "protection" is how it is mounted to the vehicle. If it is just welded/bolted to the body, all that protection isn't going to last but one good hit before it got ripped off the vehicle with the rest of the body. If it is welded to the frame you might get 5-10 good hits before the frame either bends or snaps in half....and either way, all that "protection" would be so mangled up around the doors you wouldn't be able to exit the vehicle and make a run for it once the vehicle stopped moving. Then you'd just be waiting around for the police to find a blow torch to cut you out and haul you off.
the best and safest thing to do and stay from the chaotic traffic here is buy a lot of beers and stay at home.
