At the boundary between Bacong and Dauin. not related I saw a Tanduay 4 ton truck being towed back in today from out that way, their was no way the driver could got out alive it was a bad smash. lets be careful out there .
Believe it or not the driver walked away. According to the drivers statement given to the PNP Bacong, the 32 year old Dutch fellow from Dauin tried to avoid a dog and left the road. It happened around midnight and the guy had to walk for some distance before he could find help. He is being treated at SMUC last I heard. The guy ended up playing billiards with his Suzuki Swift, striking 3 trees before coming to rest here. I had a look at the wreckage. The drivers door got smashed against the tree seen in front of the left rear wheels before spinning around and getting stuck between the 2 trees.
Just to add an exclamation point to the incident, I hope the dog got to mark his territory on the wreckage.
I have never swerved to avoid a dog and I'm now glad that I never did. (Unless thats a fancy way to say he was drunk but did not want to admit it )
