Try Octagon downtown near Steds. The Octagon in the mall is all about selling overpriced computers and printers. They often lack even the most basic computer cables.

CDR King is a complete hit or miss on such much. It can be a super common computer item or cord and if its not in stock they just stare at you with a stare like how could you expect them to carry let alone know what such an item is.

He just told me this morning he needs at least 4 meters. If yours is at least that PM me your details and I will give to him so he can contact you.

I tried to get him on the forum but he is pretty much only comfortable with FB and youtube.

I've had several locals attempt to replace the connector of an analog cable for my CCTV. Their "repair" job left me with crap video quality and the connector fell off the first time I touched the it. They had no crimp tool, no pliers......not even any d*mn electrical tape. They used a hammer to crimp the connector on. And these were guys that worked for a company that installed CCTV cameras. :meh:

If it's hard to find someone that can handle this:

(Note: Luckily the power cables for the cameras already had a connector attached!)

I wouldn't even waste my time (or risk the functionality of my electronic equipment) trying finding someone that had the tools and knowledge to do this:

I'd recommend anyone thinking of extending an HDMI cable learn how to do it and buy the appropriate tools themselves. I'd image a shop with the proper tools + the know-how is a very rare thing in the Philippines.

I had offered much the same thing as a possibility but I cautioned that I would avoid it if possible. I'm fairly certain it would introduce noise.
