    I don't know.
There are a few on the market for motorcycles but up there in the price. For me i have a reasonably priced, good video quality, detachable car cam that is small in size. I realize it's not waterproof but i don't ride in the rain. If it starts raining I just unmount and put the cam in my pocket, In the case of a car cam make sure it has a video flip option so you can mount it upright or upside down giving you more mounting options on the bike.

these cams are for motorcycles - Motorcycle Dash Cam Comparison - webBikeWorld

this is the one i use on my bike - DOD LS360W - DOD Tech Canada

and this in my car - DOD RX8W - DOD Tech Canada

None of them are very large or heavy and they could be mounted magnetically or Velcro. That Yi cam for 3k = $70 is pretty nice. I think the camera is every bit as good as the larger Gopro @1080P where I believe the smaller action cam is lower resolution 720P? I believe the mic sounds muffled on the Yi cam though. If I were going to record a wedding I would use my Huawei Media pad X1 big phone. It does an excellent job. I wouldn't be that worried about great sound on a dash cam, I will probably be cursing loud enough that nobody will miss anything.:banghead:

Even if you have an accident where the other driver accepts responsibility and there is no damage, you should always get their registration plate number, go to the local police station and have it recorded on their blotter. I have heard of cases where the guilty party goes to the police station and records it as a hit and run and suddenly there are witnesses backing him. See link below for helmet cam.

    What is a dashboard camera?
A dash cam is a video camera mounted in a vehicle. Most dash cams record both audio and video continuously. These cameras are sometimes called Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) or In Car Cameras. The vast majority of dash cams are actually mounted on the windshield not on the dash. Most of the cameras are forward facing but some dual lens cameras (front and back) are gaining popularity as well.

There are 2 features that differentiate a dash cam from a traditional video camera:

    1. Auto start and auto stop. A dash camera must have the ability to start recording when it receives power and stop recording when power is removed. This is typically done via the cars cigarette lighter power adapter but it could be hard wired.
    2. Continuous looping / cycle function. A dash camera must have the ability to delete the oldest file and continue recording when the memory card fills up
If the camera you are considering does not have these 2 functions, it is not a dash camera.

Just one more reason I am glad I left the USA 20+ years ago... I love the country of my birth, but not so much the people!

Because the Philippines has so much more integrity when it comes to people admitting blame in traffic accidents? :meh: At least in the US the video evidence might be worth something in court.....here "eyewitness" testimony takes priority over everything......even video footage that proves beyond any reasonable doubt that the witness is completely full of sh*t.

You're more likely to find a unicorn than you are to find a peenoy admitting guilt for anything.

That's BS. You can find loads of them, every week in the confessional, getting forgiven in preparation for another week of sinning.
