Background: This is touched on occasionally in other topics, but surprised search didn't find specific answers. So... now that I have decided to stay here for an even longer undetermined amount of time I have been looking at mail forwarding services. My basic interest is receiving replacement credit cards, VA letters, etc. then started thinking, what the heck, how about Amazon or whatever packages too. Part of selecting a mail forwarding service is the shipper they use (USPS, UPS, Fedex, etc) So... The Question: What is, or is there, a shipping method that manages to get packages (8 1/2 X 11 envelope with a couple envelopes in it, a size 13 shoe box, a couple pair of reading glasses that wont fall apart in a week, etc) here in under a couple weeks without costing more than the original items ($50, $100+)? I know speed can happen, I filed an insurance claim for my phone and received the replacement in 4 days Fedex - insurance company payed for shipping though so have no idea of the cost.
