A Press update on the Issue but the Second part I found a little disturbing. I was under the Impression that the PNP had the Market under surveillance after recent problems but then the Incident seemed to be solved quite Quickly. I wonder what is felt more important, Stopping Flyers Stickers or Theft and Deception?
Just my thoughts of Course. :

Article stated they were to be disposed of properly, which means they will burn them chocking the residents with the smoke.

One of those multi cabs with loud speakers advertising for a political candidate was going down the street this morning with the amps turned up loud..........at 5:30 AM.

Agree with Hans...broadly the parties seem to have much (ish) the same agenda - Dirty Harry stands out due to his programme of 'federalism' and feeding the fishes in Manila Bay. When I talk to the Mrs about this (as it quite confusing) I get flim flam about "loyalty". But when I dig a bit deeper it seems to be clan based or at least based on 'regionalism' or 'traditionalism'. Mad as a box of frogs and inpenetrable to me - as I used to parties slugging it out either from the left or right and on issues. This seems to be like a row you get to see on Jerry Springer to me.

As a side note did anyone know that Italy used to have more elections than a Chinaman on his honeymoon?

    Cheers,

    C

    for the Mayor race

    2nd district representative

Outgoing Dumaguete City Mayor Manuel Sagarbarria breezed past his closest rival, political newbie Amolat Racal, by a slight margin of 2,529 votes, to win as second district representative of Negros Oriental.

Official final results from the Commission on Elections showed Sagarbarria (NPC) earning 75,077 votes versus the 72,548 votes earned by Racal (Ind).

In third place was incumbent Board Member Erwin Michael Macias (NUP) with 46,936 votes, followed by Islao Ybanez (Ind) with 2,060 votes, and Samuel Torres (Ind) with 1,498 votes.

It has a total of 246,201 registered voters.

Meanwhile, the four new members of the Board for the 2nd district are Mariant Escano-Villegas who topped the race with 90,121 votes, followed by Rommel Erames with 75,284, Nilo Sayson with 70,020, and Arturo Umbac with 63,807.
