So I guess the point is that if your going to kill someone make sure you kill the whole family? After all if no one is left to press charges then its all good right? Its ridiculous that the police and courts won't do their job when it comes to heinous crimes w/o someone saying wrong is wrong and filing.
Okay, this was fun but I'm sure they don't need the family for the murder charges. Keep in mind this could be terrible reporting. Also, the police just bring you in, they don't put you away. They're probably using the gun charges as a path of least resistance to hold the person while they sort the more serious charges.
Who will be the one to bring murder charges then? I ask because I know of at least one fellow who was murdered BY the family so no one brought murder charges and it all went away.
During Marcos time (martial law) a guy, a philippino I knew very well, had a peeping tom around the house. One night he went armed with his (illegal handgun) after this p t who crawled under a upside down boat on the beach. He summoned him to come out and when he did not do so he fired under the boat and killed the man who turned out to be his crazy uncle. After spending 3 day's in jail and paying P 5,000 to the "bereaved" family he walked out a free man.
