Hello...is anyone familiar with the Air Speed shipping company and if so a phone number for their representative in Dumaguete? Long story short, I had an envelope shipped from the US by FedEx and after contacting FedEx numerous times they finally were able to tell me that it was turned over to Air Speed. The FedEx tracking showed it being delivered everyday for the past 5 days so I was able to get ahold of Air Speed in Paranaque and (after being transferred 5 times) they are telling me it is in transit to Dumaguete and should be delivered to Tanjay tomorrow. It took 3 days to get from the US to Paranaque and was sitting there for 7 days, so I'm not overly confident. A number in Dumaguete for the wife to inquire would be nice as it is a pain to be making all these calls from where I am. Mr. Google was no help and the guy I finally talked to with Air Speed that handled FedEx either did not know the number or was in no mood to give it out. Thanks, Shawn
If it really Air Speed then I can't help but Air 21 used to handlee FedEx in Duma so check this out. Tracking is available at this site AIR21 - Contact Us
Has your wife tried to visit the Fedex in Sibulan (technically Sibulan but I would consider it Dumaguete)? Not an easy place to find and a complete cluster f*ck of an office but might be worth a look.
Try this number and ask 0920-907-4288 that's the number Air21 used when they called me to set up delivery etc. Dave_Hounddriver was correct it is Air 21 in Philippines (FedEx rest of World as far as I know) also with the website for tracking. AIR21 - Contact Us has the Manila and Cebu numbers to call. You will probably need a tracking number though. You may also try: AIR21 Tracking - AfterShip or http://www.air21.com.ph/main/shipment-tracking.php this will tell you exactly where your delivery is at. I hope that helps!
Believe it or not, Air Speed was true to their word and the envelope was delivered this morning to the wife. Not pleased with FedEx as paying $95 for an envelope I would expect it to not take 11 days but it did arrive. Thanks for the responses. Shawn
Good question, just assumed it was because it originated in No Where Iowa. No mail service in Turkmenistan for us so I have all mail sent to my mom's address. Basically a paperless world but I still have some things I need sent, so it is what it is. Shawn
