I am applying for a Schengen for the SO. The French Embassy wants an "airline reservation" as part of the process. They said "Do Not Buy a Ticket until your visa is approved". It makes no sense to me why they would want such a thing. Does anyone know where I can get a reservation without buying the ticket? I did find a lot of travel agents listed on the form but if someone can point me in the right direction that will save me a million phone calls. thanks
I have never heard of a reservation without paying for the ticket first. But we know we must be wrong as some bureaucrat someplace said that is the way it is. Sorry Show Pony can't help with that one.
In the US, you can hold an international reservation for 3-5 days prior to purchase depending on airline.
Thanks andiflip. Just got back from town with my "reservation" from LetsGoTravel located on the block between Uy Matiao and Ace Computer Logic. Cost 500 peso, not too painful.
