How about ya take the wife AND a car and make it a threesome LOL but then you would have problems parking both (both the tables and parking spots are always fully booked it seems)

I took the wife to to Lantaw restaurant for lunch yesterday (around 1 pm). Parking was a breeze!

I tried ordering the tuna belly, whilst she ordered milkfish, along with baked scallops and chop suey, plus watermelon shakes for drinks. There was a nice breeze, so sitting outside was very pleasant (if you ignored the flies). Waitress comes back a few minutes later to tell me that tuna belly is out of stock. No surprise there, so I tell her to just give me the Bacolod chicken. I figured that shouldn't be too bad and I'd had Bacolod chicken some years back when I stopped into Bacolod! About 5 minutes later, waitress comes back and tells the wife that there's no milkfish. So she ordered Tilapia (or some other fish). Hard to understand the rapid-fire Visayan. About 5 minutes later, the waitress comes back and tells the wife there's actually NO fish to be had, so she needed to order something else. Wife tells her (politely) to buzz off and she'll just eat some of my chicken, plus the chop suey and scallops.

Order arrives quickly enough (within 10 minutes). The waitress was pretty good at taking care of us and had a pleasant personality. Her name was Fredilyn, so it seemed she came from somewhere in the deep woods [IMG] All kidding aside, she was a very good waitress with plenty of smiles! [IMG] View towards Cebu Island was great with Siquijor in the distance.

Chicken was just too vinegary for me, but seemed acceptable to the wife. Scallops were microscopic. Rice was tasteless. Watermelon shakes were good though. Chop suey was also good. Wife was really unhappy with the restaurant though. She couldn't imagine them being out of stock of all fish.
