    Just discovered I have the Philippines CNN channel with my Cignal box, not sure how long I have it. Mostly in English they cover Philippines and global news. Two keys they covered tonight are a suspected plot to kill Duterte and the military buildup in Sulu. Good weather forecast as well.
    Anyone else get this?

    I got CNN Philippines with my one month G-Sat Pinoy Direct TV subscription at my "apartelle" in Bantayan. I was watching Sunday morning when, at 9 am, it cut to Roman Catholic Mass live from the huge chapel at the SM Megamall in Manila. I chuckled and thought: Which should surprise me more? CNN broadcasting Mass on Sunday morning, or a chapel at the SM Megamall? It's definitely a cultural learning curve even though I thought I was well-prepared for it.
