If the story is to be believed in concept, then the child was being used as a hostage. I suggest if criminals are allowed to get away with crimes by holding hostages then more hostages will be used. Its really great when Bruce Willis frees the hostages and saves the day but more often innocent people die when they are victims of someone with criminal intent. I feel sorrow for the child but I could easily be convinced that the police did the right thing, if the right thing is following President Duterte's shoot to kill orders.
