Been a member for a week or so, don't know if this is appropriate subj for discussion or not. Big crowd in front of a building across from Aquino square this am about 10 or 11 everyone looking up, big traffic backup in both directions. Couldn't tell what was going on. Anybody know ??? And what is best source of local news ???

Officially on google maps, the park in front of the Capital is called Ninoy Aquino Freedom Park, fronting on National.. Yes the Pres visit will screw things up for a couple days. Real chaos is in future years, unless more traffic control is exercised. Perhaps if trikes got in the habit of getting out of the traffic lanes to pickup/dropoff, and cars the same (only two months observation)

Not a problem if LTOs answer to that is suspending their license for a week and fine them. They won't have to worry about getting back in line while sitting at home.

If ezrides can get out of traffic to pick up passengers, why can't trikes? If the trikes weren't screwing up traffic, it might actually flow and it them might be possible to get back into traffic. True, the traffic seems to hold the trikes in contempt, but I believe that is because they have earned it.
