Gluscosamine is a vitamin supplement It helps to maintain healthy structure and function of cartilage in your joint, particularly in the knees for me. The preferable on is 1,500 mg plus Vitamin D by Schiff, If anyone know a source in Dumaguete area (or even Cebu) I would appreciate knowing the location. It is does a great job in my knees. I discovered the need for it about 15 years ago when I purchased a house with many stairs. It was recommended by on of my secretaries that was about 85 years old and it worked wonders.

I use Gluco for many years and buy by J&B the seed and hardware opposite the RCBC and by Optimum, the money changer of Perdices extension South.

This is a good reminder. I took gluco by Suntory for four years in my early forties when my job required a lot of walking but stopped thinking there's no need yet. My doctor said it's okay to climb stairs but going down could hurt my knees. Now I'm suffering from more than that--wrist pain and even frozen shoulders.
