Vehicle prices are higher on southern Negros than Cebu as it is a much smaller market. I bought a Toyota truck in Cebu City for 65k that would have been at least double around Dumaguete.

 

I am a mechanic and I am disgusted to learn the cost of buying and owning used. You can't get parts for certain cars and must show the old part! 3 rd world country sucks when it comes to my trade here. I bought a car from my fiance's cousin to keep the money in the family.BIG mistake! I have put so much money in that excess Hyundai the dealer will not sell parts for. I am bringing drive shafts on the plane with me as I get parts here dirt cheap! I have a new friend in Moalboal Cebu who is Italian and owns a DD car care. He has a TIG welder and I will weld up a trailer that you can not find anywhere for sale. I brought parts from the US to build one. I might build two and sell one ! Take care........Jack

I am what I am, and you get what you see, I do what it says on the tin. Full of Fun and Wit, Trivia and Sometimes nonsense, some Odd times Sensible but Totally harmless, EXCEPT when the blue touch paper is lit. Then most times the fuse is short. So lets be nice to each other
