I have said before that you gain credibility by naming everyone involved. Kerwin would seem to pass the test. Of course there must still be the lifestyle examination.

 

I think you are a bit optimistic on his survival.
For those that like to gamble maybe someone should for a COD POOL (cause of death).
Options could be:
1) trying to escape
2) grabbed police offices gun
3) slip and fall on icy walkway
4) gun battle in cell. (this one could get tired quickly so maybe not).

None of the options can be attributed to Senator De Lima as she made a heartfelt speech yesterday forgiving Kerwin for lying.
