Hey Mokum have you found an aquarium yet? I am still in the states but I will be moving back to Dumaguete in the next year or so and I will be looking for a nice tank myself, if you have any luck pass on any inf you can. I wish I could bring my tank I have here now but I dont want to try to ship it that far. Sucks too I have a nice 65 gallon with African Cichlids in it. This is my tank here in the US I will be getting rid of before my move back to the phils.
I have been looking for a hobby to fill my days. I had 4' x 2' x 2' tank in the UK and I spent more time looking at the fish than the TV. I have found places in Cebu that will build tanks to your specs at a good price. I cannot get a tank yet until I build my new house as I don't want to set up the tank, then have to move it. I found only one second hand tank for sale in this area. Dirty and expensive. So I had a glass shop build me one (for the price of the second hand) It;s a 40 gallon corner tank . I'm not content with the workmanship/service (what's that ???) but it's not leaking during testing so that's already something. It's not installed yet as I have to build a corner support wherewith I start tomorrow. Will show a pic when ready.
OK I will be looking for the post. I looked online and found a 55 gallon a 75 gallon and a 400 gallon used tank setup in Manilla but that is all I have found used in that area. I can only guess what the cost would be to have a tank shipped from Manilla to Dumaguete.
