As I said earlier, in Australia I often availed the opportunity to buy out of date food stuffs on offer and never suffered any bad side affects, and looking at some of what is eaten here in the Philippines, I can only assume that out of date food would be the least of their worries... :o o:

I have neighbours a few doors up from me that has 3 or Uk Uk Pitches at various places (outside Schools & colleges are good he tells me) Markets & on occasion gatherings. Even outside our Chapel at Religious festival times (Fiesta time ect) Some time ago as I was walking the Dogs he took delivery of 4 bales, just out of curiosity, I asked if he knew what he was getting, never he said, I order what bales I want and they Deliver, I pay the Driver and then get the gals to start unpacking and washing what I get. We never spoke of Money at all but he did say that for what it cost, taking out the labour and wages for the sellers if I only sold 1/2 of each bale I would make good Money. So there is money to be made on this issue and although it is Wrong morally (and legally probably, if you went deep enough into it) ya gotta take yer hat off to a little Local chap that found a good way to earn :bag:
We have our Barangay Summer Sports festival Soon and I just know he will be there at the Sports Court to do business. :sneaky:

When I was in Australia, I sent my GF 2x parcels of Clothes, at the Post Office they asked me what was in the parcel and I told them "Clothes"... I was asked if they were old or new clothes, I said "New Clothes" and they said "Okay then" and proceeded with processing my parcels. I asked them what if they were used and they told me that it is prohibited to send used clothing abroad as it may contain insects or diseases etc, then suspicion set in and they asked me to open the two parcels to prove that the clothes were indeed new which I happily did, the real shock was when they charged me $150.00 AUD to send two small pillow sized parcels to the Philippines! I had promised my GF the clothes so was bound to send, learnt my lesson that her advice to just send her the money so she could buy from ukay-ukay was sound advice after all! :banghead:
