I have lost two PC's due to the Power Supplies frying on me here, before I get them repaired and plug them in I plan to buy a Uninterupted Power Supply to supply a constant stable power supply to them, might be worth investing in one if your TV's have both fried their PSU's also... I also unplug my TV every time I turn it off to try and save against frying it also as that is not covered under warranty.
The lg service center in batingul can sort the tv's,used them a couple of times before for the same thing. Somewhere around 3k per tv.
Not always a great idea as a TV is not made to deal with the power surge you introduce by constant plugging in. "Protecting" a television this way is often harder on it than leaving it plugged in. Mine stays plugged into a UPS, more for the Automatic Voltage Regulation part than the battery. It has been nice to continue watching a YouTube video during the 5-10 minute brownouts that have been mostly what we have had to deal with lately.
Bugga one step forward, two steps backwards! I was worried about the brownouts (not blackouts) where the voltage surges up and down, when we get a blackout I immediately unplug and wait for the power to come back before plugging back in, back in Oz every outlet has a switch unlike here where you need to pull the plug and plug it back in, every time I do this here, I notice the arcing when the plug contacts and worried if it was doing any damage, obviously it is. Looks like I will be needing several UPS units when I can afford...
I have one like this powering my 50" TV, laptop, and router which I purchased from Octagon in the mall for about the same as Lazada price. APC BX650LI-MS 325 Watts/650 VA UPS (Black)
