Health & Wellness Anyone used Holy Child's eye clinic

for cataract surgery and/or lens replacement? I've been to Aces and am looking at other options for now

My wife took our daughter there for a check up. They first dilated her eyes, and i'm sure you know that makes your eyes real blurry for a while, followed by a vision test and then a pair of glasses that were so strong only Ray Charles would benefit..

 

That's Aces next to Hypermart, and I've been there. They also dilate your eyes before doing the exam

I'd be going for cataract surgery on right eye and new lenses on both. A woman we know had it done at HC on one eye so far and has no complaints

 

Went to ACES on recommendation from my dentist! My eye doc in NYC insisted that I get a check-up during my long stay here to monitor my pressure. ACES "basic" doc was concerned and added a second eye drop for one eye and recommended I see their glaucoma specialist (I am borderline.) That specialist said I should consider cataract surgery on the one eye that is the less strong even though the cataract is mild. Supposedly it might help the pressure, too. My NYC doc never even mentioned a cataract over the years I have been seeing him.

Needless to say, I will get a second opinion when I go back to NYC on holiday.
