That is why in the safety manual for the construction industry it states if you are 10 or more feet above ground level you must wear a safety harness, because if you fall you could kill yourself. Two stories can do it for you.
Wasn't there a suggestion that he hung himself ? Two stories should be plenty if you have a rope tied around your neck.
@AlwaysRt Not Smith Street in the picture of the FB post below. You said the guy at your apartment was alive when the ambulance picked him up, did he pass away at the hospital?
From what my wife said he made it to the hospital alive, by that night she was told he had died. So, not 100% sure of exact timing except he was "warm and breathing" when they put him in the ambulance. I guesstimate that to be around 10am +/- This was my neighbor and my wife saw him on the ground, she did not mention a rope. Not sure why this had to happen the one week I wasn't there. I will be back Thursday, maybe I can find out more facts then.
OK, I made it back, and now it's time.... for the rest of the story.... As I said in my original post he was scaring the crap out my wife from about midnight on. He settled down for a while after the land lady and her husband showed up and talked to him at around 4am. He was back at it by 6am, around 7am my wife snuck out back to do a little cleaning and noticed his clothes ect on the ground behind his unit. She heard him go to the parking area but did not hear the gate open, he didn't come back either so after being scared all night called the landlady again instead of investigating herself. The landlady came back and saw him hanging from the water tower. By the time my wife was brave enough to find out what the landlady was screaming about her and the other neighbor had cut him down and he was laying on the ground. The other neighbor got the Valencia ambulance and they took him to the provincial hospital. He was breathing, twitching and warm when put in the ambulance and was pronounced DOA at the hospital. The funeral is in Valencia tomorrow, Friday the 21st. ....and now you know the rest of the story (and so do I)....
