We often Hear/Talk about the BB Box Privilege. I thought it might be timely to put the link in for the rules of these boxes. I have a source ( Customs Officer Uncle in Cebu Docks) that tells me that Customs have spoken about tightening up on Inspections of boxes. It would appear that higher Ups are of the Opinion the the BB Box Privilege is being Abused.o_O The Links shows what can and can't be sent, Timings and can be expanded to give a lot more information we all might need at some time. Being one step ahead is always good for us especially when we get rule changes or they decide to tighten an existing rule that had been relaxed. Hope it is of use to many and can explain things to those like me that get confused by the never ending changes. http://customs.gov.ph/faqs/balikbayan-boxes/ Morning All JP
I wonder how many boxes will arrive with the same contents as they started with if they start checking more boxes?
remains to bee seen Dave, I guess Customs men need Xmas Pressies for the kids. Oooooooooops did I say that or did you think it too?

From Google: "The key to transporting sulphur in molten form is maintaining its temperature at approximately 140 degree Celsius." So pretty sure that's not high on anyone's list to ship in a BB box
Wife sent some boxes in December 2016, some arrived, some didn't. Then sent some more in January 2017 just before we left the UK. Still no sign of the boxes from December or January! Nothing illegal just some quality paint brushes and rollers that you cant buy here, which have been used but good condition also power drill and other stuff.
Unless you are SATAN Muwahahahaaa!! Some of the items mentioned take simple common sense really, but in reality, we ALL KNOW THAT SOMEONE SPECIAL who might try it! *snork snork snork*
Might be a problem if you are transporting via dear ol Gran's corpse... But I ask you; WHY WOULD YOU?
